If you claim a charity on GoFundMe Charity, we'll verify that you are affiliated with the charity before giving you full access to donor data and payout settings. Whenever possible, use your official charity email address as your GoFundMe Charity account email.
In most cases we do this automatically, and we'll send you an email containing the verification PIN within 2 business days after you claim.
When we need to manually verify your connection to the charity, we'll send you an email within 2 business days to ask you to send us more information or documentation.
Haven't received the verification PIN?
- Please wait at least 2 business days from the date you claimed your charity. This ensures that we've had enough time to complete the first step of the verification process.
- We may have reached out for additional information or documents from you before we complete verification.
- Be sure to check your spam folder for messages from GoFundMe Charity.
- Sometimes we will reach to request additional documentation if we are having trouble verifying your association with your charity.
If you claimed your charity within the last 2 business days, please wait for an email from us.
If you claimed your charity more than 2 business days ago and still haven't received an email from us, please contact us.
Once you enter your PIN to verify your charity account, you'll have full access to donor and participant data in the report center. You'll be able to update payout preferences to receive payouts directly to your bank account at the frequency you select. You'll be able to customize your charity's profile. And you'll have access to the revenue center, where you can actively manage your donors.
