PayPal Giving Fund is a donor-advised fund (EIN 45-0931286) which processes payments through PayPal and delivers those donations to charities via transfers to their PayPal accounts or mailed paper checks. PayPal Giving Fund is the default payment processor on GoFundMe Charity. PayPal Giving Fund has processed more than $400 million in donations for 50,000 charities through their giving system. WePay is an online payment service provider that processes payments and transfers funds directly to charities via bank accounts mailed paper checks. WePay is a JPMorgan Chase company, based in Palo Alto, CA and processes transactions for over 250,000 merchants using state-of-the-art technology, and 24/7 data monitoring and FDIC/CDIC-insured banking.
