Withdrawal timelines are determined by the payment partner selected by the charity, which is either PayPal Giving Fund (default) or WePay (if the charity chose to set up their WePay integration).
PayPal Giving Fund
Unenrolled charities receive payouts by check sent to the address on file with GuideStar within about 90 days of the first donation date. Subsequent check payouts are typically monthly.
Enrolled charities receive monthly payouts to their PayPal account. Money donated through the 15th of the month is paid out that same month around the 25th. Any donations received after the 15th are paid out at the end of the following month.
Please refer to this article for steps to enroll in PayPal Giving Fund.
Charities who elect to use WePay can receive payouts via EFT (electronic funds transfer) to their bank account or via check, and they can select one of the following withdrawal frequencies: daily, weekly or monthly.
To activate WePay and manage all WePay withdrawal settings, sign into your charity's GoFundMe Charity account, then go to Account (in the drop-down menu) > Banking > WePay.
