You can make a donation to any GoFundMe charity campaign using most major credit and debit cards. We support most all countries, but there are a couple of reasons you may be struggling with donating.
Causes and solutions to fix a failing donation
Browser issues or issues with your internet connection
Solution: Try from a new browser and double check to make sure you have strong internet or signal from your mobile device.
Typos in your card number, CVV code or postcode.
Solution: Try from your computer to ensure no errors!
The donation name doesn't match the name on your card
Solution: You must use your own card card when donating. We don’t recommend that you donate on someone else’s behalf since our payment processors will reject multiple donations from one card if it looks like card testing. If you’re doing a one-time donation, you can use your own card, and ask our team to edit the name after the fact.
Insufficient funds or card declines by credit card issuers (can happen if your donation attempt seems outside your normal spending habits)
Solution: Call your bank to resolve! They can take care of this quite quickly for you.
The organization listed as the beneficiary of the campaign has not set up their payment processor
Solution: Contact our team, so we can communicate this with the organization, so they can add their payment processor.
